About Amanda
Amanda Makon is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA). Amanda has 15 + years of experience in the accounting industry and her practice focuses on serving hospice and home health agency clients, cost reporting, CAP reporting, and reimbursement-related services. Other healthcare client experience includes small business accounting and bookkeeping, as well as financial statement compilations. Amanda is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Health Care Compliance Association. (HCCA), and West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA). In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly, cheering on their favorite soccer and football teams. She also likes to read, work Legos, go to the movies, and travel to new places to learn about the history and culture of the area.
